As "The Poet" in our

Kaleidoscope: Life's Meaningful Reflections

Book Series often says:

Dear Seeker of Those "Deeper Things"
Love is Everywhere
And its blooming
In the air,
So, We haven't got a care
'Cause I'm here,
And You're there,
And TOGETHER
We are making LIFE
A GLO-RI-OUS affair!!!
Poetic Reflections and Songs of an Awakening Human, with their Prose Inspirational Backgrounds, Offering Reading Pleasure, Food For Thought, and Space for the Reader's Own Reflections

Spark your own creative bent,
by sharing the way the Poet's life went!

The Poet shares thoughts, poems, songs, and "Reflections" about everyday life experiences for the Reader's inspiration and enjoyment. Since creativity is contagious, it is also the hope that these moments together will prime the pump of the Reader's own innate Creative Genius! As the Poet states,

We really need each other, and the encouragement that our associations bring. So, as you read the thoughts that are shared, and your imagination begins to take flight, you can immediately use the space that has been provided in this book at the end of every "Poem" to record your own "Reflections", and ideas, and creative musings.

Everyone has a piece of this life's Kaleidoscopic puzzle, and we need them all, YOURS AND MINE. The picture will not be complete until we have all contributed our part. Together we can fill our world with the order and beauty that we are all craving.
As in Volumes 1 and 2 of this "Kaleidoscope" Series of "Life's Meaningful Reflections", Volume 3 once again reaches out to connect with the innate creative genius within the Soul of each Reader!

Deep calls to deep, and We seem to light each other's fire as We rub shoulders while sharing the Poet's Songs, Poems, and Reflections on Life's Experiences.

Poetry is an ancient art that has long been recognized and employed to create, organize, and inform all matter, and, therefore, the revival of this powerful art form is imperative as We move into an ever-widening era of creative development! Now is the time for the "Poet" in all of us to demonstrate and employ its useful enjoyment.

As each Poem and its "Inspirational Background" is shared, the Reader's own creative juices are primed, and, as in the first two Volumes in this "Kaleidoscope" Series, space provided in this book then becomes the Reader's Idea Pad and Project Planner so that thoughts can be turned into real life forms, which will then inspire others to grab pen and paper, brushes and paints, instruments, and tools... And, Voila! The Creative Movement has begun, and is enjoying its unstoppable self-propelling Life! Welcome to my world!!!

I've Always Loved Music!

I've Always Loved Music!
by Vanessa Conaway Pace

I've always loved Music! ...,
	Sang before I could talk;
Sang while picking the berries
	In my rugged farm walk.

Got to study, and sing,
	With the best that there is;
Even tasted the life
That is known as "show biz".

But, each time
	They would call
		My life's work
			"Entertainment",
Something deep down inside
	Would require
		"Brain entrainment"!

I just couldn't think
	Those great sounds
		Had no meaning;
They're too sacred,
	And Rich,
		And have power,
			Was My leaning.

After years of life's lessons
	That were tailored to prove
I would faithfully use
	Sound's great power to move

Everything into place
For the good of all men,
And the Earth
	That they stand on,
		It was time to begin...,

Books kept coming,
	Songs would "sing"
Great TRUTHS would fly to me
	On Spirit's strong wings.

No denying the message
	That it clearly said,
Would I let that strange message
	Into my head?

It said, "Everything vibrates".
	Okay, that's for sure.
But, if that fact is true,
	Could there be something more?

If it vibrates,
	Then that
		Would produce
			A known tone.

There it is!!
	All is Music!!!
Is that how
	ET phoned home??

Did he sing
	A great song
That would fly
	Through the skies?

Music travels
	Through space..
		What a happy
			Surprise!!!

Music carries our message
	And forms everything.
No wonder We're told,
	"Let Your Music take wing."

It will travel through space
	To a great distant star,
And will bounce back
	Quite quickly,
		To create what You ARE.

Better tame it,
	And use it,
		The best that You can.
Its a Gift,
	And a Tool,
		That was given to man.

We all send out Music, whether we are aware of it or not. Our whole being is made up of frequencies, which we receive from the universe, alter by thoughts/emotions/words/music, and transmit back into our surrounding world.

Ancient writings say that the words, "Let there be light," set the universe spinning, and that Sound/Music put things in order and held them there!

In his wonderful book,"Creating Affluence", Dr. Deepak Chopra says, "
The word universe literally means "one song" (uni: one; verse: song). In this song, in this harmony, there is peace, laughter, joy, and bliss."
Can sound really be that powerful???

We already know that sound can break glass, cause avalanches, pollute (or sweeten) our atmosphere, and frazzle our brains and emotions.

Medicine uses high pitched sound (ultrasound) to pulverize kidney stones and drill dis-eased teeth.

Scientists are now agreeing to sound's impact on the brain, and declaring certain ordered classical music, like Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, can raise IQ, expand memory, and speed learning.

I've Always Loved Music! ... pg 3

Years ago, as a Singer, I started having reoccurring thoughts that every organ in the body had a unique frequency, and, I could have a positive effect on dis-eased organs by simply singing the corrective pitch to it. To a highly trained, career-seeking operatic/Broadway-type singer, it sounded pretty fanatical. But, the fact of the matter was that people were reporting healings while seated in the audience of my concerts! Pretty kool!!

One man came to me after a concert saying, "I saw my healing coming to me on the sound waves". Now THAT's exciting!! Don't quite know how that happened, but I figured I had a tiger by the tail, and didn't really know what to do with it! Imagine my joy when I began to find ancient tables that listed the known frequencies of healthy organs of the body (which I could translate into singable musical pitches), and ancient teachings that told me how to use the human voice to heal myself and others!!

Wow! They didn't teach me THAT in Music School!! All of a sudden that tiger was IN my tank, and I learned that I could release it at will to accomplish remarkable things! What's more, we all can! It is inborn in us for the using. We just have to "remember" how. The premise has now been medically verified, for we often hear of alternative medical practitioners who use specific tones to heal the organs.

Hans Jenny, a Swiss scientist, passed sound waves through various moldable matter, such as fine shavings and sand, and the pictures he left show remarkable patterns that were created by these waves. When we look at the way they take on various three-dimensional forms we can begin to imagine how creation by sound might occur.

I've Always Loved Music! ... pg 4

For centuries, mystics have told us that sound/music actually creates matter. Scientists have begun to prove the mystics right, uncovering evidence that primordial sound helped create and order galaxies. As a Singer/Voice Teacher that really excites me because for years I had been hearing that little inside voice saying we could "manage molecules" with our Voice. That's another "WOW!!" Just imagine. If that were really true, and I believe it is, then what we say/sing, and even the WAY that We do it is REALLY IMPORTANT!

I started using my Voice, and training my students to use theirs, more responsibly! Armed with the knowledge of how the Natural Voice works, and our new ("remembered"?) understandings of the effects of pitches and vowels, we began to create some very exciting effects with our Voices. Our bodies began to heal and change shape as We sang naturally-produced tones; colors began to appear in our fields of vision as we blended certain frequencies; and our spiritual awareness began to increase.

Reach down into your old memories, and begin to sing musical scales, vowel sounds, chants, and heartfelt Soul songs DAILY. Sing with others (Join our groups!). Listen to beautiful music and the sounds of Nature. Learn/play an instrument. Read a good book on Sound (Ask for our reading list). Become very AWARE of the Sounds/Music around you.

Yes!!! Sound/Music IS that powerful!

Better tame it,
	And use it,
		The best that You can.
Its a Gift,
	And a Tool,
		That was given to man.

Voice Training

What are your goals? Do your dream of being on stage (where many of my students perform), singing professionally? Or do you want to be a better public speaker, perhaps for business? Or do you want an enjoyable hobby, perhaps for karaoke or singing in a choir? I have taught all of these things and more. I can teach you too. I have many years of experience in training a wide variety of Voices. I am convinced that there is no such thing as a Voice that cannot be developed.

My students range from age 5 to 97. I get quite a few High School Students wanting to land the lead role in their High School Play (which, when they apply these techniques, they frequently do).

Think about how the sound of the Human Voice creates a lasting impression and potentially carries immeasurable powers of influence. Consider the great orators and singers of the past who have defined an entire era, all through the use of their voice. People such as Orson Wells, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Caruso, Pavaroti, Winston Churchill, Morgan Freeman, and so many others.

My approach is to consider the whole person, because singing is physical and emotional, as well as about technique. If all of those are not in tune, you won't be singing at your best. Singing is more than basic technique.

I was very privileged to be taught by some of the finest teachers in the business. And I can help you to find your true NATURAL voice, to release the song and the message within you freely, with power and increased range and control. You will learn how to fix vocal production problems and to release your unique and very valuable sound. This will equip you to effectively communicate your ideas, desires, and feelings with the outside world.

Vanessa Pace was a protege of Maestro Silvio Coscia, one of the Metropolitan Opera's most beloved Voice Coaches. Vanessa brings to the world of music a wonderfully varied Performing and Teaching career, ranging from Opera to Broadway. She holds a BA degree in Music Performance from Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts.

Vanessa has produced, hosted and sung in over 2,500 television programs. Vanessa has performed in America, Canada, Russia, Romania, Rwanda, Uganda, The Congo, Kenya, and England. She has recorded nine albums, authored three poetry books, and teaches Voice to private students and groups.

So, whether you just want to learn to sing, or sing a little better, or you want to develop your Voice for business or pleasure, or perhaps you aspire to a career as a great singer or orator, these lessons can help you toward your goal.

Kaleidoscope: Life's Meaningful Reflections

Volume 1: That's ENUF!!!

Learning to Like What You See in Life's Mirror

We all have our own thoughts on the state of the world and what role we play in it, but I applaud those who put it on paper and share their stories with others.

In this delightful volume, you will find poems, songs, and musings a'plenty. Pace writes with a candor that is refreshing and welcoming. Her poetic voice is never bitter, but rather determined as she urges the reader to reflect (oh, that word) on what is around them and take charge if they do not see the world they want.

She also encourages the creator in others, as there are several places within this book to write down your own impressions should your muses tempt you to do so. In this sense, much like the best art, there is a chance for a dialogue between the author and the audience. What you get from this book will definitely depend upon what you put into it, but I personally found my imagination stimulated and my heart lifted.

We went to work, and this album is the result of that labor of love.
